Drone Filiming

One of the features of my drone is that I can fly "missions" autonomously to preset waypoints.  The manufacturers controller software only allows missions to waypoints within 1500ft.  But I installed some alternative software that does not have this restriction and tested it this evening, flying about 1.5 miles away.

One of the challenges to filming you guys on the water from the drone is chewing up the battery just trying to find you on the tiny screen that is my phone.   With this new software, I can do a "one way" mission to a waypoint, then terminate the mission and take control.  So I provide you guys the waypoint,  you use your GPS to sail to it, radio me when you are there, and I get the drone out there at 30 mph, and have a good 15 minutes left of filming time.
